Maria Francis is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Algebra at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU), Linz, Austria where she worked under the supervision of Prof. Manuel Kauers. Prior to that, she was a doctoral student at the Computer Science and Automation department at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. During the period 2007 - 2009, she had worked with Microsoft India (R &D) as a Program Manager.
